When you join a cover through this Plan, either as a combination hospital and extras cover or as a separate policy you will have free access to HCF's 'My Health Guardian' program - to help you manage and improve your health.
IMPORTANT
The Federal Government has announced that all Health Insurers will increase premiums from 1 April 2012. Premiums for the LGE Health Plan will also increase from that date. Great for young couples who want protection at a low cost by having limited cover for procedures they are less likely to need such as maternity and psychiatric services. Also includes 100% emergency ambulance cover and up to $5,000 per person per calendar year for non-emergency ambulance services.
General Extras Plus provides cover for the most common services such as General Dental, Optical, Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Remedial Massage, Chiropractic, Pharmaceutical and more.
